A bigger picture.
A closer look.
From a global perspective to the details of a single satellite, the tools you need stay close at hand.
Earth, with atmosphere.
Explore sunlit oceans, cloud cover, city lights and the blue edge of the atmosphere. Rotate and zoom through a richly rendered 3D scene.
Follow the journey.
See smooth satellite motion, ground tracks and coverage footprints. Look ahead along the track to understand where a satellite is heading.
Know where to look.
Sky View plots available satellites above your location using azimuth and elevation. Check upcoming passes for supported satellites.
Go deeper into the data.
Inspect position, altitude and velocity. Switch between Earth-fixed (ECEF) and inertial (ECI) coordinates to explore different frames of reference.
See the ionosphere.
Explore Vertical Total Electron Content (VTEC) over North America, adding a view of ionospheric conditions to your orbital exploration.
Make the scene yours.
Explore available satellites together, tap for a label, and choose your overlays. Sun and Moon indicators help you find your bearings in the scene.
Space, at your fingertips.

When can I download P-Track?
We’re preparing P-Track for its App Store launch. This page previews the app; it is not yet available for public download.
Does “in view” mean I can see a satellite with my eyes?
In view describes a satellite above your local horizon. Seeing it with your eyes also depends on sunlight, weather, brightness and surrounding light. A satellite on the plot may not be visibly bright.
Does P-Track need an internet connection?
An internet connection is needed to download fresh orbital and VTEC data. If the data service is unavailable, P-Track can use a limited local cache and shows a notice. Cached data may not cover every satellite or time.
How do I restore or cancel Pro?
Use Restore Purchases on the paywall with the Apple account used for your purchase. Manage or cancel your subscription in iPhone Settings under your Apple account’s Subscriptions. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
What are ECEF, ECI and VTEC?
ECEF is a frame that rotates with Earth. ECI is an inertial frame used to describe motion around Earth. VTEC measures the total electron content along a vertical path through the ionosphere.
Is P-Track intended for navigation?
P-Track is for education and exploration. Satellite positions, passes and coverage are estimates and should not be used for navigation or safety-critical decisions.
A whole new point of view.
Explore our planet, follow a satellite, and discover the motion that’s always above us.
